Andrew Summers

Andrew Summers is the Chief Financial Officer at Cleveland Diagnostics and brings over two decades of experience in finance, strategy, and business development in life science tools and diagnostics. Prior to joining Cleveland Diagnostics, Andrew was Head of Corporate Development at Guardant Health and spent over 10 years in Corporate Development and Business Development roles at Illumina. Previously, Andrew worked in venture capital and merchant banking where he invested in and advised technology and life science emerging growth companies.

He has been involved in over $1B in tools and diagnostics acquisitions and partnerships to improve human health and patient outcomes and over $400M in venture and corporate investments that resulted in category leaders and multiple IPOs and successful acquisitions. Andrew received an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a BA from Washington State University.
